Have you signed into your Google Local Business Center account lately. If so, then you’ve likely been introduced to their new reporting features! These new reports provide valuable feedback on the performance on your local business listing, and really goes to show how much value is out in the local market.
Google has really been pushing local search lately, with the 10-pack update which shows the google 10-pack listings within the natural search area for search terms without service area identifyers to this. It is clear that Google doesn’t just want big powerhouse websites to rank, but is showing the mom and pop businesses some favor. It is clearly an olive branch of sorts to local business owners all across the country.

Personally, I am really excited about the new additions as it will go a long way to help me regarding Local Search Optimization. I’m also really excited to see their tips and best practices guidelines for creating a quality listing.
