Using Keyword Research Tools for SEO
In my last article, I spoke about Expanding Your Keyword List. In this article, I will detail some really great Keyword Research Tools that will help you understand more about your bucket list of SEO keywords.
How Are Keyword Research Tools Useful?
Keyword research Tools are great ways to get useful information about your keywords. These tools can help you:
- Find which keywords are being used by searchers.
- Find average search volume statistics.
- Find statistics detailing keyword competition levels.
- Find information on competitor’s keywords.
- Find additional keywords for your list.
Most professional SEO’s utilize one (if not all) of these tools to do keyword research for clients. From my own experience, I use these tools frequently and often use the data that I gather to make SEO recommendations to my clients.
Which Keyword Research Tools Should I Use?
There are many tools out there that will help you with you keyword research, and I want to warn you that there is also a lot of propaganda out there that will not help you at all.
To help you sift through the crap, I’ve created a short-list of keyword tools that you can rely on to do your research for your SEO campaign (they are in no particular order).
Each of these keyword tools has its own advantages and dis-advantages, but I can assure you that they are all really great tools that will be of great value to your SEO efforts.

If you have any suggestions, please feel free to make them…
In my next article we will discuss how to Gather Data of Your Keywords. Have a great day!
