How Search Engines Work
Knowing how search engines work may help you understand how to better approach your SEO campaign.

One of the first steps to understanding Search Engine Optimization is to understand the search engines themselves. If you’re familiar with what you’re up against, then you can have a better understanding of how to be successful.

Think of it in terms of a football, baseball, or any sports teams. If you go into a game without studying your opponent, then you won’t have a gameplan. If you don’t have a gameplan, you probably won’t win. However, if you study your opponent and have a gameplan, you’re far more likely to win.

Dear Bing & Yahoo…You Still Suck!
Stewie says you suck!

Dear Bing & Yahoo!,

You still suck majorly and I’ll tell you why! I don’t care that you just merged together to fight big-bad Google. You’ll both probably end up just shitting your pants and crying in the corner (like always) while Google kicks your ass anyways!

Things I Like

  • Simplistic, yet beautiful (and flexible) design
  • Enhanced related search archive
  • Running search history right at your fingertips
  • Enhanced category display features
  • Excellent design & layout for image searches
  • Enhanced video search with hovering autoplay feature
  • Increased emphasis on Local Search (where MSN was severly lacking)

All…
